Do you want to be able to use your conservatory all year round?
If the answer is yes, then contact us and we can replace your old conservatory roof with a lightweight slate or tile effect roof covering Coventry, Warwickshire and surrounding areas.
We will replace your old conservatory roof so you can have your conservatory back.
The problem with older polycarbonate conservatory roofs is that the polycarbonate does not offer very good insulation as the u Values are too high, so you find in the winter it is almost impossible to keep it warm, as all the heat escapes through your roof, unless the sun happens to come out and in the summer when it is warm, it lets too much heat into the conservatory so it is too hot to actually use, even fitting blinds can only help a certain amount.
The replacement conservatory roofs that we install have three layers of insulation, allowing you to keep the heat in, in the winter and the heat out, in the summer.
As your new conservatory roof will no longer be at least 75% translucent it does fall under Building Regulations, so all conservatory roof conversions are issued with a Building Regs Certificate.
By replacing your old polycarbonate roof with a new lightweight slate or tile conservatory roof, it will allow you to use your conservatory all year round, as it will be more thermally efficient and we can achieve a u Value of 0.16.
We remove your old roof structure completely, taking your conservatory back to the top of the frames height, we can even replace the frames and doors if you want, with new ones, we then build you a solid new timber frame for your conservatory roof, which is all built on site, we then install two layers of insulation, before fitting the lightweight slate or tiles, which are available in a range of colours to match your existing house roof.
Our plasterers then fit the final layer of insulation, which is insulated plasterboard and then they skim this to a beautiful smooth finish, we will also fit spotlights for you in your new roof.
If you worried about losing some of the light that a polycarbonate roof gives, then we can install skylight windows, but you will be surprised how little light you actually lose, by having a new solid conservatory roof.
We also provide a Building Regs Certificate with all installations as by replacing the roof it will fall under Building Regulations as at least 75% of the roof is no longer of a transparent or translucent material.
