Is the temperature in your conservatory not to your liking?
If the answer is yes, we can fit a replacement conservatory roof instead of your old one for an improved insulation and look, covering Dunstable, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
At Nu-Look our standard procedure for your conservatory roof replacement consists of removing your current conservatory roof and fitting a timber frame to support the new solid roof. We then install three layers of insulation to get the sought-after temperature in the winter and summer. This results in your conservatory being more efficient with your energy.

As your new conservatory roof will no longer be at least 75% translucent it does fall under Building Regulations, so all conservatory roof conversions are issued with a Building Regs Certificate.
To begin with our skilled fitters will remove the old conservatory roof and build on site the new timber frame for your conservatory roof. They will then fit the three layers of insulation and for the finalizing touch to put the tiled roof on, the lightweight tiles do come in a range of colours and alternatively slate effect tiles. There are also various lighting options to accompany your conservatory; spotlights to light up the inside of the conservatory, Velux windows in the tiled or slate roof to allow natural light to fill your spacious conservatory.
To minimize disruption to your and neighboring homes the installation only takes two weeks.
The type of multifoil insulation we use is called Alumaflex. We install this in between the timber frame and the membrane which sits just below the new conservatory roof. With the rafters in place we fit insulation boards between them, lastly insulated plasterboards are then applied to the inside, for a perfect finish the plasterboard is skimmed on the inside, resulting in an uValue of 0.16.
The common problem of trying to warm and cool your conservatory season after season it tends to build up expenses requiring you to use fans in the summer and excessive heating costs in the winter. With a solid conservatory roof the energy efficiency that is in-build in the insulation you will be able to save money.
