Do you find it difficult to keep your conservatory warm in the winter?
Is your conservatory too hot in the summer?
Nu-Look Conservatory Roof Solutions are specialists in replacing old polycarbonate roof with new light weight slate or tiled solid roofs.
Our specialty is the complete re-design and replacement of your existing conservatory polycarbonate or glass roof with one of their low cost and energy efficient solutions of light weight tile or slate effect roofs, the new roof will have 3 layers of insulation, making it a much more insulated conservatory roof, which is why it is more thermally efficient.
We build conservatory roof replacements that will not only solve heating or cooling issues, but add real value to your property. Our time-served staff will design, manufacture and fit your new conservatory roof, giving you the highest quality of workmanship, professionalism and customer satisfaction.
As your new conservatory roof will no longer be at least 75% translucent it does fall under Building Regulations, so all conservatory roof conversions are issued with a Building Regs Certificate.
We build you a bespoke timber rafter roof (the same construction method as a house roof) on the outside we install Tapco Slate which a light weight slate effect which is available in a number fo colours to match the look of your existing roof or we can fit light weight tiled effect, again this is available in a number of colours although the Tapco Slate is the most popular option. We then install 3 layers of insulation on the inside of the roof, including insulated platerboard, which is then skimmed to provide a smooth perfect finish, which is why Nu Look are incredibly able to achieve U-values of 0.16 which is below Building Regulations requirements.
It’s very important to ensure that the heat you generated during the winter stays in your conservatory, but it’s equally important that during the hot summer months, the extra heat you don’t want is quickly removed with little resistance.
