Do you find it difficult to keep your conservatory warm in the winter? or is your conservatory too hot in the summer?
If the answer is yes to either of these questions, have you considered replacing your old polycarbonate conservatory roof with a light weight tile or slate effect solid roof, which will make your conservatory more thermally efficient.
Nu-Look Conservatory Roof Solutions are specialists in replacing conservatory roofs with a solid insulated conservatory roof.
Many of our happy customers complain that their conservatory had become an unusable room as it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, as it was too difficult or expensive to try and keep warm, so in some cases had been used as a junk room, rather than the original reason that it was built was to give extra space within their home, or somewhere they could sit and enjoy their garden, when the weather wasn’t warm enough to sit outside. Although after we replaced their old conservatory roof with a solid conservatory roof, they were able to enjoy their conservatory for the room is was always meant to be.
As your new conservatory roof will no longer be at least 75% translucent it does fall under Building Regulations, so all conservatory roof conversions are issued with a Building Regs Certificate.
At Nu-Look Conservatory Roof Solutions, we completely remove your old polycarbonate or glass conservatory roof and our skilled tradesmen build you a bespoke timber framed conservatory roof, they build this on site to ensure that it is a perfect fit.
They then install timber Alumaflex insulation, followed by batons, a breathable waterproof membrane and then fit the lightweight slate or tiles, these come in a selection of colours to either compliment your house roof or add a contrast for more of an effect.
Internally, we fit 40mm insulation boards between the rafters, we then fit an insulated plasterboard, which then gives three layers of insulation to your new conservatory roof. The plasterboard is then skimmed to a smooth finish.
We also install lighting to your new conservatory roof, either spotlights or any other lighting that you require.
